We love when couples really make their engagement session unique to them! April and Mark have been going to Brooks Brewing ever since they stumbled upon it, and now we know a great spot to grab some drinks and play arcade games when we get the urge! Working with these two was as easy as it could get. Their love for each other is the best kind, silly and sweet, and we can’t wait to capture it on their wedding day!

Let’s revisit those beautiful fall colors, shall we? 💖Lisa and Matt brought us to a trail behind Jimmy John’s Field that we had no idea even existed! And we are so excited that they did! We got so lucky to see some of the last of the leaves before the first big snowfall of the year.

Thanks for being patient while we catch up on, well, everything 😅

Working with Annabelle & Teresa was wonderful! They made the trip to our end of the mitten for their engagement session, and we couldn’t be happier that they wanted to go to one of our favorite parks! We are so happy with how their photos turned out, and we couldn’t be more excited to take the trip out to Grand Rapids for their wedding this September!!

So. Much. DANCING! 🥰 Sarah and Loryn were a breeze to work with, and the chemistry between them is too real for us to even need to give them any sort of direction. Seriously, a couple who starts dancing and twirling without us needing to ask is nothing short of perfect!! We already can’t wait for their wedding day!!

Exploring downtown Detroit and Corktown with these two was so much fun, and ending the day on a hot cup of coffee was the perfect way to wrap things up for this chilly day. We love exploring the city and all it has to offer, and we’re so grateful to all of our couples who give us the opportunity to do so!

One thing that we loved about this engagement session was how quiet and intimate everything was! We are so used to loud and busy Cider Mills that we were pleasantly surprised when we were the only people at the location. And - total surprise for us - the location also has a beautiful little venue they use for weddings. AND we got to photograph there!!

Elisabeth and Bobby were so adorable together, we got so many laughs and smiles and plenty of dancing and twirling in for our session. The weather was beautiful and they were so easy to pose and photograph; we really couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day!
