So. Much. DANCING! 🥰 Sarah and Loryn were a breeze to work with, and the chemistry between them is too real for us to even need to give them any sort of direction. Seriously, a couple who starts dancing and twirling without us needing to ask is nothing short of perfect!! We already can’t wait for their wedding day!!

Exploring downtown Detroit and Corktown with these two was so much fun, and ending the day on a hot cup of coffee was the perfect way to wrap things up for this chilly day. We love exploring the city and all it has to offer, and we’re so grateful to all of our couples who give us the opportunity to do so!

One thing that we loved about this engagement session was how quiet and intimate everything was! We are so used to loud and busy Cider Mills that we were pleasantly surprised when we were the only people at the location. And - total surprise for us - the location also has a beautiful little venue they use for weddings. AND we got to photograph there!!

Elisabeth and Bobby were so adorable together, we got so many laughs and smiles and plenty of dancing and twirling in for our session. The weather was beautiful and they were so easy to pose and photograph; we really couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day!

A beautiful day + a beautiful couple = an engagement session from our dreams!! We had such a wonderful time exploring some beautiful areas of Detroit with Natalie & Justin. The love and fun that these two had made the entire 3 hours we spent with them fly. Not to mention, these two are naturals at taking the slightest direction and creating a beautiful moment together - all the while completely ignoring our camera shutters clicking away. We danced, we laughed, and at the end of their session we got to witness and capture a beautiful moment: Natalie surprised Justin with a trip to London!

As soon as we saw the pumpkin decorations, we were SOLD. Tabitha & Richard had a beautiful fall-themed wedding at a beautiful venue, and they and their bridal party were so much fun to photograph. You know they’re up for some fun when golf cart races have been the talk of the day! Plus it’s always a great surprise to find out one of the groomsmen has such a gorgeous singing voice that he serenaded Richard and his mom for their dance together.

We couldn’t have asked for a better bunch of friends to spend the day with!

Okay WOW. This was probably some of the most fun we’ve ever had at a wedding!! You know it’s an amazing day when the bride is surrounded by her friends and family, dancing in the middle of the circle to “Dancing Queen” and screaming “This is the best day of my life!”

If that’s not enough to describe how much fun these two were, the OG engagement photo Ethan’s best man brought out during his speech is. Denim & turtleneck 90s glory! There were so many laughs and so many smiles all day; Julie & Ethan are so lucky to be surrounded by so much love. Even though we totally missed Moosh (peep their engagement photos for his fluffy face), we had such a fantastic time capturing their love. We hope that they have many, many more days full of happiness and excitement and Cher 😉
