FINALLY we are sharing this intimate wedding in the Apparatus Room of the Detroit Foundation Hotel!! Have we mentioned before that we absolutely adore this location?! Because wow, even photographing in the same spots makes for such beautifully unique photos for every couple. But anyway! Thank you so much to Ramona & Mircea for allowing us to join them for their beautifully chic wedding day. It’s an understatement to say that we had a blast wandering the halls of the hotel for photos, and we even saw the cutest dog (in an adorable sweater!!) while we were at it! From their hallway first look, to a grand entrance through the Apparatus Room to their ceremony, this wedding was definitely one of our top favorites.

Sara and Cindy had such a beautiful fall day for their wedding - even if it was a little chilly! Their wedding was totally DIY, and in a family friend’s barn to really top off the rustic feel. We loved spending the day with them, and we loved how their photos turned out. We can’t say it enough, two brides are better than one 😉

Caroline and Dominic had a lovely, small elopement in a beautiful local park. And when we say beautiful, we mean beautiful - we must have seen at least 5 other photoshoots happening throughout the area! And their ceremony was just as gorgeous. We cannot stress it enough, we really love elopements! It’s true, nothing can beat a beautifully planned out wedding. But the intimacy of an elopement is just as amazing.

We have to admit - Randi and Felicia’s wedding is one that we’ve been looking forward to since their engagement session at the beginning of the year. They are such a lovely couple, not to mention absolutely gorgeous. They’re both such sweethearts and have been absolutely amazing to work with. And now that their wedding has come and gone, we’re still gushing over the photos that we got! When they say, “Two brides are better than one” they’re not kidding around ;)

Shane & Daniel were the winners of a giveaway we held back in February for an hour long session. And we were more than happy to photograph their small ceremony and some family & couple portraits as their prize! Intimate ceremonies are really such a unique experience. Being so small, there’s a lot of small quirks that make it into the usual traditions, and they really are amazing to be a part of. We couldn’t be more honored to be a part of them!
