It has been a long couple of months since we held an engagement session, and boy did we feel rusty getting our cameras back in action! Obviously with the COVID-19 outbreak, stay-at-home orders, and all around chaos the world had entered, we have been busy rescheduling sessions and weddings ever since end of March. We are so thankful for all of our couples that have been so wonderful to work with during these times, and grateful for ours and our family’s health.

With all of that being said, Noelle and Chad were our first official social-distancing photo session! We had such a great time poking around the backyard with them, and even found a cute bunch of wildflowers that made it look like something out of a yellow dream!

Windy? Yes. Freezing cold? So very cold. But we stuck it out and had a beautiful engagement session on Belle Isle anyway!! Bailey and Connor were amazing - not only did they make this bitter wind seem like it was nothing, they also ran like champs and didn’t even slip once 🤣

We love when couples really make their engagement session unique to them! April and Mark have been going to Brooks Brewing ever since they stumbled upon it, and now we know a great spot to grab some drinks and play arcade games when we get the urge! Working with these two was as easy as it could get. Their love for each other is the best kind, silly and sweet, and we can’t wait to capture it on their wedding day!
