When a couple is so much fun and gorgeous to boot, it makes our job incredibly easy! Chantelle and Marlandis were an extraordinary couple, and walking through downtown with them was as natural as could be. Their bright personalities were fantastic to work with, and we couldn’t get enough of their engagement photos!

Tabitha & Rick were super lucky that they came to us with the idea that they wanted to have their engagement session at the Detroit Foundation Hotel, because we knew just the right people to get them in! It’s such a gorgeous structure with so many beautiful spaces to photograph, and we took advantage of just about as many as we could for this engagement session. They were such an easy-going couple to work with, and their smiles truly lit up the room!

Plus, we have to give some MAJOR props to Tabitha for braving the bitter cold for a quick walk to a new location we wanted to check out! The tops of parking garages truly do make for some beautiful scenery, but really, nothing can beat a Detroit skyline ❤️

Emily and Matt were so cute, and they had the perfect idea for their engagement session - because what’s better than to have an engagement session AND a pregnancy reveal all in one! We explored downtown for some adorable locations, and had the best time with them. We’re truly suckers for a photo session in Detroit.

And not only was the engagement session a huge success, but we also ran into the amazing Michigan-born DJ, Griz while we were walking to another location! If you don’t know who he is - he’s an awesome guy who spreads loads of love and positivity, especially surrounding Detroit. Not to mention, his music is super funky and fun! Safe to say, we were starstruck 😂
