Emily and Matt were so cute, and they had the perfect idea for their engagement session - because what’s better than to have an engagement session AND a pregnancy reveal all in one! We explored downtown for some adorable locations, and had the best time with them. We’re truly suckers for a photo session in Detroit.

And not only was the engagement session a huge success, but we also ran into the amazing Michigan-born DJ, Griz while we were walking to another location! If you don’t know who he is - he’s an awesome guy who spreads loads of love and positivity, especially surrounding Detroit. Not to mention, his music is super funky and fun! Safe to say, we were starstruck 😂

Winter engagement sessions mean it’s time to get cozy with your S.O! Jessica & Kyle were too cute cozied up together for their engagement session, and we couldn’t get enough of her beautiful scarf that she brought along. Throwing it around for photos might seem a little silly at the time, but man do they make for some beautiful photos.

We were so honored to be invited into Josh and Brooke's home for their engagement session! There's nothing more intimate than finding beautiful spots in your own home to get your photos taken, and we personally love how cozy it makes the engagement session feel.

Not only did we have a blast finding gorgeous nooks and crannies to photograph these two, but their son was too adorable not to include in the fun. Alsooo we have to mention that they're going to be on HGTV - OMG!!! Their story is going to be featured on House Hunters, so keep an eye out to see what they've been up to! 

We sincerely hope that we'll be able to photograph more in-home engagement sessions, this was too much fun!

To be completely honest, we've been so extremely excited to photograph Randi and Felicia's engagement session, because they are the first (of hopefully very many!) LGBT couple that we've had the honor of booking. And we couldn't have been luckier to be able to photograph such a beautiful couple - both inside and out!

The location they chose was absolutely perfect; the Red Dunn Kitchen is super trendy and so cute to photograph in, and they are seriously THE CUTEST. That combination made for a wonderful way to start the new year, and we cannot wait until their wedding this October!
