A beautiful day + a beautiful couple = an engagement session from our dreams!! We had such a wonderful time exploring some beautiful areas of Detroit with Natalie & Justin. The love and fun that these two had made the entire 3 hours we spent with them fly. Not to mention, these two are naturals at taking the slightest direction and creating a beautiful moment together - all the while completely ignoring our camera shutters clicking away. We danced, we laughed, and at the end of their session we got to witness and capture a beautiful moment: Natalie surprised Justin with a trip to London!

We’re so thankful that Jess & Doug decided to work with us, because we had a little bit of a trip to make! After driving through Stoney Creek, we noticed a beautiful field on the roadside that we knew that we needed to photograph. Luckily these two weren’t afraid to do some walking and wade through some foliage, because the photos were 100% worth it!

Thanks for dancing a little and taking a light job for us you two - we knew it would be worth it 😉

Friendly reminder that we will NEVER say no to bringing your furbabies to your sessions! If anything, y’all have to keep in mind that you will have way more pictures of them than yourselves 😉 But on a more serious note, thank you Julie, Ethan, and Moosh for joining us at our favorite park!! Julie’s smile was radiant as could be, and we couldn’t be happier with how their photos turned out.

You never need to ask if you can bring your pets to your engagement sessions because the answer will always be YES! Meet Humphrey!! This adorable fluff ball belongs to Jessica and Chris, and we have to admit that he’s definitely one of the CUTEST models that we’ve photographed so far.

Also let’s just ignore the fact that it took us so long to show off these photos - because we are already so ashamed that we haven’t found the time 😅 But Jessica & Chris were amazing to work with, and we couldn’t have had a more beautiful day for their engagement session!

Tabitha & Rick were super lucky that they came to us with the idea that they wanted to have their engagement session at the Detroit Foundation Hotel, because we knew just the right people to get them in! It’s such a gorgeous structure with so many beautiful spaces to photograph, and we took advantage of just about as many as we could for this engagement session. They were such an easy-going couple to work with, and their smiles truly lit up the room!

Plus, we have to give some MAJOR props to Tabitha for braving the bitter cold for a quick walk to a new location we wanted to check out! The tops of parking garages truly do make for some beautiful scenery, but really, nothing can beat a Detroit skyline ❤️
