Emily and Matt were so cute, and they had the perfect idea for their engagement session - because what’s better than to have an engagement session AND a pregnancy reveal all in one! We explored downtown for some adorable locations, and had the best time with them. We’re truly suckers for a photo session in Detroit.

And not only was the engagement session a huge success, but we also ran into the amazing Michigan-born DJ, Griz while we were walking to another location! If you don’t know who he is - he’s an awesome guy who spreads loads of love and positivity, especially surrounding Detroit. Not to mention, his music is super funky and fun! Safe to say, we were starstruck 😂

We recently had the awesome opportunity to work with an incredible brand, York Project! Not only is their Social Streetwear top notch, but their story is just as amazing. Currently, York Project makes a Donation Kit to donate for each product sold. Each one of these Donation Kits includes a tote bag, toilet paper, socks, and bottled water. Since 2012, they’ve made over 24,000 donations in 23 American cities from coast to coast. Winter engagement sessions mean it’s time to get cozy with your S.O! Jessica & Kyle were too cute cozied up together for their engagement session, and we couldn’t get enough of her beautiful scarf that she brought along. Throwing it around for photos might seem a little silly at the time, but man do they make for some beautiful photos.

Sara and Cindy had such a beautiful fall day for their wedding - even if it was a little chilly! Their wedding was totally DIY, and in a family friend’s barn to really top off the rustic feel. We loved spending the day with them, and we loved how their photos turned out. We can’t say it enough, two brides are better than one 😉
